Coach John Kofi Mensah has been confirmed as the new addition to our coaching staff as a volunteer, adding to Hasaacas’s ambition to make football in the Western Region grow in all aspect. 

Popularly referred to as De Don, Coach John K. Mensah before joining Sekondi Hasaacas FC was formerly with Division Two side, Anaji United FC.

He holds certificate in Grassroots and currently pursuing Coaching License C.

There will be avenues for Coach John Mensah to learn from Our Coaching Staff; Technical Director Coach Yusif Basigi, first team head Coach, Joseph Agyemang Junior, goalkeeper’s trainer Solomon Nii Aryee, Coach Boniface Ayepah, Coach Felix Tamakloe and Coach William Ankrah Narh.

Coach John Mensah expressed his delight in working with Coach Joseph Agyemang Junior and how supportive the players have been since his inclusion into the coaching staff.

“I came to learn from coach Joseph Agyemang, the players and the other management executives have welcomed me well and they have been very supportive.

“Even in my childhood days, I dreamt of being with Hasaacas, watching them play, so it’s such fulfilling to have gotten this opportunity with the Club and I look forward to make the most out of it.

Ambitious Coach John Mensah relishes to coach one of the Ghana national teams and also head Hasaacas FC in the future.

“I want to coach one of the National teams, and be in charge of one of the biggest clubs[Hasaacas] in Ghana”.

Coach John Mensah was presented with his first dugout opportunity in our goalless stalemate against Sekondi Eleven Wise over the weekend
