Our vision of reshaping the lives of the youth through football has once again been realized in Linda Eshun’s perfected achievement as an Inductee to Robert Morris University’s Hall of Fame, Illinois-USA.

Therefore, we submit that we can through its infinite appeal based on its unique mix of simplicity and complexity that cuts across age, ethnicity, religion and gender, re-shape the future of the youth in the Twin-City of Sekondi-Takoradi” – Club Vision.

Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies center back, Linda Eshun earned an induction to the Robert Morris University’s Hall of Fame in February 2019, for her outstanding contribution to the University as a student athlete. The Hall of Fame Committee solicit for individuals who completed RMU five years ago and had an outstanding contribution to the University’s cause for which Linda Eshun duly made the grade.

Linda Eshun spent a staggering four years as part of the Eagles Soccer team between 2010-2013 and anchored the defense of the RMU’s teams throughout her study. Eshun served her interest and that of RMU’s very well; adding to her rich achievement was an appearance in the NAIA national quarter finals in both her maiden appearance and final appearance in 2010 and 2013 respectively.

For her impressive performance for RMU, Linda Eshun earned a slot in the first team recognition in the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention team in both 2011 and 2012. Among these were other outstanding achievements chalked by the Black Queens center back.

Adding to all these fascinating achievements, Linda Eshun graduated with a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Applied Health Science.

Not only this, Linda Eshun played part in Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies Football Club’s unprecedented 3 National Women’s League titles(2012-2015) and again played 10 of the 11 games when the team beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-2 in the final to win the 2019 Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.

Not only Linda Eshun, there are a number of indigenes that have benefited immensely through the brand Sekondi Hasaacas FC and have walked their way to the top of their educational careers backed by the passionate leadership of the Club who are bent on ensuring the fruition of the Club’s Vision.

Hasaacas Ladies 4 times NWL Champions

Over the last six (6) years through the power of football, the following players have made it into the Universities in United States of America (USA); Elizabeth Cudjoe, Linda Eshun, Gifty Appiah and Samira Suleman through playing for Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies have gained admission to the Robert Morris University in the USA.

In addition, Linda Aboagye and Elizabeth Cudjoe graduated at Alabama University and Northeastern State University respectively.

Ernestina Abambila has studied at Mississippi Valley State University and Youngstown State University. Jennifer Cudjoe also graduated from the University of Maine, USA on September 2018.

Sekondi Hasaacas FC is ultimately excited for Linda Eshun’s achievement as the first Ghanaian female footballer to chalk such a feat.
