Mustapha Fudail has lauded his players for a wonderful work to secure a 5–0 win over Dolphins at the preliminary stage of the 2021 MTN FA Cup.
Kwabena Baidoo, Alfred Payne and Anthony Quianoo produced debut goals as Hasmal launched up a beautiful display to the next stage of the Cup Competition.
Baidoo scored at either half of the game, Alfred Payne and Anthony Quainoo added one each before substitute Obed Asamoah Ackah came from the bench to complete the demolition in a sublime fashion.
Speaking to the Club Media after the game, Coach Fudail who has taken the Club to a stage better than last season’s exit to Nzema Kotoko at the preliminary stage claims he owns the win to his players.
“I’m happy for the win, and it’s the players I’m much happy for – such a spirited performance can only be possible due to hard-work and from what we’ve endured this week it takes something special to show up in this shape.
“I believe the players will see the need to work on this display. They have to challenge themselves individually so making a collective decision will not demand a lot.
“Jay Kola Asamoah has given us options at the back. He did great today in partnership with Abeiku Ainooson and the attackers really took their chances. Much depend on us and we will work ourselves up from here”.
The team will regroup and work towards the next encounter against Venomous Vipers next Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Sekondi Gyandu Park and will await the next opponent at this stage of the competition.
