Hasaacas Ladies Football Club was established in June 23, 2003 as a part of the conglomerate Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club. The Club is based in Sekondi-Takoradi, the capital city of Western Region, Ghana and plays its home matches at the Sekondi Sports Stadium and the Sekondi Gyandu Park.

Since its inception, Hasaacas Ladies has achieved unprecedented feats in the Women’s Premier League by winning it the most, 5 times, at least 3 more than the next best team. In 2012 when the Women’s Premier League was introduced, the Club won it on 3 consecutive times(2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15) – an unmatched feat, again in 2019 and in 2021. The 2020/2021 Women’s Football Season saw Hasaacas Ladies lift an unrivaled double; the Women’s Premier League and the Women’s FA Cup.

Based on winning the 2019 Women’s title, the Club will be representing Ghana at the Confederation of Africa Football Women’s Champions League which begins with a qualifying tournament at the capital of Ivory Coast, Abidjan. It is the first of its kind competition and to make Ghana proud and elevate Women’s Football in the country, the Club is thereby soliciting for support to enhance its preparation for the tournament.

The tournament begins on July 17, 2021 and the competitors from the various West Africa Football Union Zone B block are expected to report not later than July 15, 2021.In view of this, the Club will be expecting funds to be able to make the trip before July 15, 2021.

Coach Yusif Basigi has been the Head Coach of the Club since its inception in 2003; under his tutelage the Club has raised and nurtured several key players and remains the club with the most contribution to the various national teams(U-15, U-17, U20 and the Black Queens) over the years and several key players for the football world.

Jennifer Cudjoe, Ernestina Abambila, Samira Suleman, Janet Egyir, Linda Eshun are among the tall list of players that have passed through this remarkable 18 years of the Club’s existence.
