Shaibu Rafique Issah was a second half substitute for Coach Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabin led Black Starlets in the opening game of the West Africa Football Union Zone B Under-17 Championship.
The Sekondi Hasaacas FC Shot-stopper was a 59th minute substitute for Ahmed Amadu Dembarah when the team was trailing 3 – 0 to their West African neighbours, Nigeria.
The team continued to lose 4 – 2 at full-time, Shaibu conceding his first goal for the Black Starlets.
Shaibu Rafique Issah will turn 15 years old on June 15, 2022 and is currently enrolled to Adiembra Senior High School.

Shaibu is a part of the 2021/2022 season recruits for Hasaacas FC and despite being a Junior High School Basic Education Examination Certificate Candidate then, all was clear he showed the potential to be one for the future.
He made his first team debut against Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Gold Stars in the Round of 64 of the MTN FA Cup when the Club lost by a goal to nil becoming the youngest player to play for Hasaacas FC at the age of 14 years and 159 days old.
He has spent most of his life at Assin Andoe where he was born and attended SDA Preparatory School before moving to Takoradi to continue life with Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club.
