Hasaacas FC came from a two goal deficit inside the first half to amass a 4-3 victory against Twin City Football Club on match day five of the Western Region Division Two League.
Obed Asamoah Ackah and Benjamin Afful scored two goals each to ensure Hasaacas FC
completed the comeback to bounce back to winning ways.
Twin City Football Club scored two goals within the first 13 minutes of the game to make the job nearly daunting for Hasaacas FC, but for Obed Asamoah Ackah’s impressive form in front of goal as his two quick goals within seven minutes gingered Hasmal’s comeback.
Obed Asamoah Ackah took his goal tally to six goals and three Player of the Match Awards in
five games; he latched onto a perfect pass from Roger Lamptey before and dribbled past an oncoming defender before pouncing it in with the weak foot to reduce the goal deficit to one.
The 23-year-old attacker was again available for another timely completion of a successful
build-up to pounce in the loose ball inside the penalty box to bring the game level.
Just within few minutes to bring the half to a close, Benjamin Afful made amends for his
earlier miss by tapping in after Emmanuel Alfred Kwesi’s strike had come across the goal
post.
The half ended with Hasaacas FC leading 3–2.
Again Twin City responded with a counter attacking break to level up after a cross from the far right was connected to restore parity once again.
With the game nearing a draw, it was Benjamin Afful once again that rose highest to connect to Paul Aidoo’s free kick from the left side of attack to ensure Hasaacas FC led once again.
