The style and precision have been visible, a telling example of a good harvest oncoming…
If there was a true life presentation of the old adage “ half a loaf is better than none” then it was the showcase on Sunday at the Sekondi Gyandu Park in the Division One League Zone 2 match day 2 game against New Edubiase FC.
The game which was Hasmal’s first home game of season also had fans for the first time in a long time troop into the stadium to watch their favorite “Giant” team play.
Hasaacas looked all prepared to grab the maximum 3 points from a team they have struggled to do that against in the past 4 games.
Coach Mustapha Capito named an unchanged first eleven from the the team that played against Star Madrid a fortnight ago.
And as so, eyes were certainly on the two attackers in Justus Torsustey and Samuel Afful to give Hasaacas their first goal of the season. The fans in the stadium couldn’t wait to shout “Doooooooo” if the ball should enter the net.
As usual with what we have seen soo far in the season, Hasaacas started very slow but gradually picked with some mouthwatering play and beautiful touches of the ball. The fans couldn’t not just hide their admiration than to jam their hands together in praise of the play of the players.
This beautiful play coupled with numerous goals scoring chances created were the most the team could offer throughout the game as it ended in a goalless draw.
Every attack showed clearly how close the team is at getting it first goal of the season.
Fans will have to wait for the team’s next outing against Achiken FC on Sunday 24th January. Certainly, the shout of “Dooooooooo” will be heard again and very soon.
