Finally the #hasmalb3ba mantra was put in motion as the Giants of the West, Sekondi Hasaacas FC opened their 2020/21 Division One League season with a well deserved and earned point away from home against Star Madrid FC.

The game which was initially to be played on Sunday 10th January but rescheduled to Wednesday 13th January presented Coach Mustapha Fudail the opportunity to competitively test his tactics for the first time as the coach of Hasaacas.

Although the maximum 3 points was not achieved, there were numerous good ticks for the team.

Most prominent among the the good ticks was the numerous chances created in both halves. That calls to wonder how the game ended goalless.

Certainly showing clearly the goal scoring deficiencies in the team. Coach Capito who started the game with a 4-2-3-1 had to vary formations throughout the whole game in an attempt to break his opponent.

Players like Eric Wonkyi and Elvis Nyarko who made the competitive debuts, ended the game with a lot of commendations.

In general, the efforts and commitment of the players and the technical team was evident to the fact that we are all in for the #hasmalb3ba project.

The project continues this Sunday 17th January, with the team’s first home game of the season at the Sekondi Gyandu Park against New Edubiase at 3pm.
