Alex Murphy and Nicholas Zakli produced two spectaculars as Hasmal came from behind twice to share the spoils with Achiken FC.
It was a real test time for the Mustapha Fudail led side that were twice pinned behind, but fought back for what proved a tricky outing.
Coach Mustapha made one change to the side the lost 1-0 to New Edubiase the last time out; goalkeeper Anthony Brebo made way for Ebenezer Jarkwei.
The fine atmosphere made way for the fine football; it was Hasmal that suffered first as a deflected shot from Thomas Aboagye fell on the path of Achikens FC forward who shot to the roof of the net under just a minute.
Hasmal continued pounding the surface and bossed play till Kwame Arhinful Arthur was fouled by the opposing Goalkeeper for a penalty; Murphy stood up this time and failed to send the Goalkeeper the wrong way.
Murphy made amends for the earlier penalty chance by coolly curling one to the far post to send the game one all before the whistle for recess.
Hasmal suffered another heartbreak when a miss-communication between goalkeeper Ebenezer Jarkwei and the defense line allowed Achiken to pounce in a loose ball to once again go into the lead.
Nicholas Zakli and Obed Asamoah Ackah as second half substitutes conjured for the equalizer; a strong pass from Theophilus Nyame towards the path of the attacker and he made no mistake by sending a rocket past everyone for the equaliser.
Try as the lads did – the match winner did not come and the game ended 2-2.
What it means
Hasmal will add a point to the accumulated points and still look to better the 5th position.
The team has two away games against Nzema Kotoko and Swedru All Blacks.
