Milot Pokuaa marked a fine display with two first half goals to help Hasmal Ladies secure all points away against Police Ladies at the McDan La Park.

The 3-shirted attacked took her tally for the season to 4 goals at 3rd and 33rd minutes to help Hasmal Ladies move 2 points adrift of next week opponents, Berry Ladies FC.

How it Happened

Coach Yusif Basigi made slight changes to the lineup the last time out against Sea Lions.

Doreen Copson and Comfort Owusu were handed a starting berth against a side that we’ve struggled against in our previous visits.

Lineup: Grace Banwah – Perpetual Agyekum[Lucy Kwofie], Janet Egyir, Regina Antwi, Queenabel Amankwah – Faustina Aidoo, Evelyn Badu, Doreen Copson – Milot Pokuaa, Doris Boaduwaa, Comfort Owusu.

Before Police Ladies will take their first breather, Milot Pokuaa connected beautifully to a Doris Boaduwaa pass to send Hasmal up with 3 minutes showing on the clock.

The host leveled matters when Josephine Boateng expertly turned in a penalty kick at 15 minutes.

It was the chance for Hasmal to try from the spot, but Doris Boaduwaa’s kick was parried away by the goalkeeper.

Milot Pokuaa restored the lead with a carbon copy of the first goal this time Comfort Owusu providing the assist with 33 minutes showing on the clock.

There was nothing much at stake as Hasmal held up tight at the back to ensure the game ended 1-2 in our favor.

What it Means

Hasmal Ladies move to second position on the league log with 14 points – 2 points lesser than the first position.
