Hasaacas Ladies duo Evelyn Badu and Milot Pokuaa have earned call ups to Black Queens camp ahead of the August 26 Tokyo 2020 qualifier against Gabon.

The two made enormous impact as Hasaacas Ladies snatched the 2019 Normalization Committee’s Special Competition, both players were on the score sheet as Hasaacas Ladies bounced from behind to beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-2, in the final to win the first of its kind tournament.

Badu, 16, had a starting role in the Queens first two games against Senegal and Togo at the WAFU 2019 bronze winning campaign. Badu scored the first of a 2-0 win against Senegal.

It will be Milot’s first call-up to the senior women’s national team.

Head Coach Mercy-Tagoe Quaicoo added the 2 to the initial squad to open camp on Tuesday, August 6 ahead of a first leg against Gabon on August 26.

Former Hasaacas Ladies center back Janet Egyir who’s currently plying her trade with Afturelding also had a call from the head coach.
