Reaction to yesterday’s Sekondi Derby event, results, possible return of former skipper, Daniel Agyin and high praise for our Sekondi Derby Match-day Guide filled the airwaves on Monday morning…

First up, we hear from the media on the organization of the event, the results and the call to stage a re-match on December 30.

We played out a goalless stalemate against Sekondi Eleven Wise at the Gyandu Park, a game which both teams displayed a well-rehearsed pattern and a brilliant defensive display.

Before that, there were honorary minute of silence and team Hasmal wore black armband in memory of late Mr. Richard Aggrey and Mrs. Mary Jacobs whose love for Hasmal and the Show Boys respectively was not up for questioning.

But all amounted to good organization and brilliant display of sense of occasion from supporters and the committee in charge of the organization said by Radio Silver’s Sports Broadcaster, Stephen Kwame Yeboah.

“On the day we had a brilliant event, good organization, the meetings held by the committee in charge of the organization of the event came off brilliantly. It was certain that football has been missed in this country and we need it back.

“Possibly, the December 30 return league should be better than what we witnessed. It was such a brilliant organization from both Clubs” – Stephen Kwame Yeboah said.

Is Agyin back to Hasaacas? That has been the guess work making the airwaves on Monday, Agyin, who moved to Bechem United two seasons back returned to feature as a guest player in Sunday’s Sekondi Derby. Agyin was the reason for the stability at the heart of Hasmal’s defense alongside teenager, William Enchil, calming nerves by putting spanner in every move by Sekondi Eleven Wise attack.

Again, the media was full of praise for Our communication team on the Sekondi Derby Match-Day Guide.

Several media personnel expressed genuine love for the works of the communication team headed by Mr. Benjamin Quansah.
