The return of competitive football still dominate the headlines and it’s getting interesting with just few days to the start of the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.

Hasaacas Ladies have also had a fair share in the media today following our 1-0 win at Elmina against Sea Lions. Group C results on Saturday means there’s anything to play for on Wednesday, with all four teams capable of making it to the next stage of the competition.

A victory on Wednesday, March 27, against Soccer Intellectuals at the Gyandu Park might see us qualify to the next stage of the competition.

Skipper Perpetual Agyekum has been quoted by NB Sports on her firm faith about our qualification to the next stage of the competition.

The left back has scored four times in five games in the campaign. And she is quoted by saying…“Our determination is sky-high, we want to qualify to the next stage of the competition. God willing we will claim victory on Wednesday.

“Our fans should expect a win. We are not going to just win rather we will make the victory handsome with a lot of goals.

“We had the determination to claim the 3 maximum points because our attitude at training had a telling effect on our previous games.

“So we were really determined to make amends for our poor show in the previous matches” – Perpetual Agyekum.

Coach JAJ and his side will commence preparation on Tuesday ahead of this weekend’s trip to Swedru to play All Blacks.

That will be all for today’s media watch.
