Justuce Torsutsey brought early smiles – that did not last as Nzema Kotoko came from behind to snatch a 2-1 win at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
It was a fine start from the team braced with a well-worked goal when Obed Kofi Sam liaised perfectly with Justuce Torsutsey for the opener.
Obed Sam had a graceful first touch to John Koomson’s lobbed pass before setting up forward Torsutsey for the opener.
The visiting side bossed play hence and created impressive goal scoring opportunities – all mattered to nothing.
Injuries to Justuce Torsutsey and Theophilus Nana Awortwe called for early changes and Obed Asamoah Ackah and Ben Ankrah.
Kotoko responded quickly in the second half and followed up with the lead through Agyenim Boateng with a penalty kick.
