It was a rebirth of the first national league in 1958 – Hasaacas renewed the rivalry with Venomous Vipers on match day 11 of the Division One League.

Anthony Brebo was called to duty just after the whistle for commencement – the shot-stopper equalled the effort.
Samuel Afful came close to granting Hasaacas the opener with a shot at a very close angle which was parried out.
Roger Lamptey fired up another close range effort but this time his effort flew off the crossbar.
Venomous Vipers slotted in the opener – for the first time, Hasaacas trailed before the first half time break.
Hasaacas upped effort in the second half; Theophilus Nana Awortwe was replaced with Sampson Eduku.
Nyame was pushed to the defensive midfield, John Koomson ahead of him and four attackers; Torsutsey, Afful, Lamptey and Eduku.
An incisive corner kick by John Koomson was ably turned in by Torsutsey to draw the Giants level.
Some fine efforts from Eduku, Roger and Afful were parried out and the closest of them all; Justuce Torsutsey hit a strong effort and it was equaled by the shot-stopper.
Emmanuel Ebahoah and Obed Asamoah Ackah were brought on for Daniel Egyin and Samuel Afful to bolster the attack.
