Teenager Kwabena Baidoo conjured spectacularly upfront alongside three different scorers to give Hasmal a 5-0 win over Dolphins FC at the MTN FA Cup preliminary stage.
The 16-year-old opened what will become a scoring spree just under the first minute; beating two defenders before slotting in the opener blissfully.
Kwabena Baidoo sided with Alfred Payne whose header beat the goalkeeper at the first post to register the game’s second goal.
The first half ended 2-0 for Hasaacas FC.
The team produced more of the same performance in the second half and added three goals to complete the demolishing exercise.
Kwabena Baidoo set Anthony Quainoo beautifully and the latter planted in a fine header to send the game 3-0 for Hasmal.
Kwabena Baidoo rounded the goalkeeper to add his second of the day before he tapped in from close range.
Substitute Obed Asamoah Ackah rounded the goalkeeper and added the game’s 5th goal.
The team kept the composure at the back and ensured the team held their own against the Host.
Hasmal will now await the next opponent in the competition in the round of 64.
The team will return to the Division One League with a game against Venomous Vipers.
