Hasmal spurned the chance to climb up the ladder of the Zone 2B of the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition, lack of creativity set us open for a 2-0 defeat to the Cape Coast based side.

Venomous Vipers scored a goal at both halves of the game at the Robert Mensah Stadium to snatch their first win of the campaign.

About the game.

With an early intent to seal off the game backed by their voiceferous home fans, Vipers neutralised our midfield and our defense manned by Thomas Aboagye, Patrick Eshun, William Enchill and Albert Adjei had to hold it all together till the 32nd minute.

A free kick at the right side of our defense was curled in beautifully and Vipers had the lead.

After throwing three attacking players, Isaac Mensah, Theophilus Awortwe and Eric Quarshie in the game to work things out for the equaliser, the host took advantage and worsened our plight with a 85th minute cushioning.

Next up.

We return to the Gyandu Park, Sekondi to play Star Madrid in the final game of the first round.
