Alex Kofi Murphy, Patrick Odoom and Edmund Ampofo were the scorers on Match Day 21 as Sekondi Hasaacas returned to winning ways against Nzema Kotoko in a pulsating afternoon that saw five goals on the day.
Alex Kofi Murphy first half strike on the 21st minute separated the two teams in the first half – the only goal the half saw. The midfielder who took his tally for the season to 3 goals saw his free kick blind-eye Ishawu Yahaya for the game’s opener.
Nzema Kotoko skipper Felix Ackah leveled matters twice from the break; first seeing his long effort deflected towards the bottom left corner and pulled a goal back when the score line was 3-1 in the additional time.
Patrick Odoom was on hand to restore Hasaacas’ lead following Kwame Arhinful Arthur’s deflected strike which was turned in stunningly by Patrick Odoom who was lurking at the far post.
Edmund Ampofo who was a second half substitute sent in a low strike into the bottom corner after feeding off a pass from Alex Kofi Murphy – Alex Murphy’s 6th assist of the season.
The 3-1 lead at the 92nd minute didn’t last before Felix Ackah again saw his effort bounce in front of Mustapha Rabiu Dambaba to reduce the lead to 3-2.
