A first leg tricky 2-1 win against Sea Lions set up an all to play for second leg at the Nduom Sports Complex which ended 3-2 for the host and an aggregate advantage to push Coach Yusif Basigi and his lasses to the final.

What really happened.

A heavy downpour welcomed a cagy encounter which was fairly attended by our voiceferous away fans.

Sea Lions started brightly and pinned Hasmal Ladies to a half pitch game. That impressive showing aided an early goal on the 4th minute mark and a second with just 14 minutes showing on the clock.

It was the turn of Hasmal Ladies after the 20th minute mark. Milot Pokuaa who was well handled by Blessing Agbomadzie had her chance and her shot which was fluffed by the goalkeeper was turned in by Lucy Kwofie.

The half ended and the final 45 minutes took off in a disappointing form at least after a failed midfield battle which we were second to all half chanced balls.

Sea Lions Ladies retained their 2 goals advantage at the hour mark.

Evelyn Badu joined Milot Pokuaa in attack and the midfielder fired up, jumped highest to pounce home a cross from Milot Pokuaa.

At 3-2 down, hopes were high as the host did little in attack. We held on and ended the game advantaged by a 4-4 aggregate scoreline.

We set up a final encounter against Ampem Darkoa Ladies on Sunday, April 14 at the El Wak Stadium.

Huge thanks to the supporters who traveled with the team, led by the voiceferous Escorba.
