Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies made two contributions to the Black Queens squad for the 2019 West Africa Football Union Women’s Cup.

Janet Egyir was part of the team that beat host Ivory Coast 1-0 in the final in 2018, and she will be leading the team this time out, alongside her is teenager Evelyn Badu, who will be having her first major competition with the senior national team.

Evelyn Badu Hasaacas Ladies

The duo played major role in Hasaacas Ladies 2019 Normalization Committee’s Special Cup triumph. Badu scored 4 times including a goal in the final 3-2 win against Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

Ivory Coast will be hosting the tournament for the second time. Black Queens are housed in group B; Nigeria, Guinea and Mali complete the group.

The tournament kick starts on May 8.
