The strong defensive set up of Twifo Atti-Morkwa FC was too strong to penetrate as Hasmal played out a goalless stalemate at the PAMO Park, Twifo Praso.
Following a hectic 4 hours journey to Twifo Praso, Sekondi Hasaacas FC delivered to meet the expectations of the awesome attendance on the day.
Coach Joseph Agyemang Jr. opted for some new faces, Obed Asamoah Ackah was handed the hand-band to lead the changed squad on the day.
Isaac Quagraine, Isaac Nketsiah, Seidu Kumordzie, Alfred Eshun, Jacky Twumasi and Bernard Ebo Eshun all had some game time against TAM FC.
Hasmal tipped off on a nice note, partying on the field with some one touch displays in the opening minutes of the game and the home fans spent some time applauding the display.
The home team, TAM FC had a fair share of the possession and created some scary moments and the defensive quartet of Asare Adabadji, Yahaya Seidu Pelpuo, William Enchill and Kola Jay Asamoah built a wall in front of Anthony Brebo.
Anthony Brebo had to match up to one occasion when a teed pass from the left flank was booted aiming at the left corner of the post and Brebo had to parry that away brilliantly.
Edmund Ampofo was served a peach of passes inside the box but his effort left much to be desired of.
In the end TAM FC managed to keep Hasmal and rather had a goal ruled out for an offside after three players were captured inside the box after Brebo had saved a strike from the left flank.
