Hasaacas FC was handed first defeat by Asokwa Deportivo at the Okese Park on match day four.
Hasaacas fine start to the season was thwarted by the Ejisu-based side following two goals, one at either side of the half to secure the win.
It was an unchanged eleven from the side that won at home on match day three against New Edubiase United.
Ishawu Yahya was in poles. Abeiku Ainooson and Alex Ackon on central defense and on the left and right were Elvis Nyarko and Eric Wonkyi Arthur.
In the middle was Theophilus Nana Awortwe, Anthony Quainoo and John Komson led by Frederick Quayson, Seidu Abdulai and Alex Kofi Murphy.
It was Hasmal that showed more firepower in the early stages of the game; Alex Kofi Murphy when played through by Anthony Quainoo bundled over his strike which was collected without stress by the goalkeeper.
Again, Frederick Quayson flicked a pass through to the path of Seidu Abdulai – the latter effort was not a trouble for the goalkeeper.
It was the host that shook the net first when an infringement on the left side of our defense was rebounded in and failure on Ishawu’s path to have a firm grip saw Mumin send in the game’s first.
The host doubled their lead in the second half after an free kick bounced in front of Ishawu Yahya who miscalculated his steps for the game’s second.
Asokwa Deportivo claimed a 2-0 win after all. Our first defeat of the season in all competitions.
The team returns to the Sekondi Gyandu Park on Thursday, December 16 to play Baseke Holy Stars in what will be our last home game of December 2021.
