A last gasp in the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition ensured we sealed qualification to the next stage in a sensational form.
Perpertual Agyekum had her fifth goal of the competition and Evelyn Badu added another in a pulsating 2-1 win against Soccer Intellectuals.
A hard sealed victory at the Gyandu Park, Sekondi – a game that was delayed 43 minutes due to a late start at the Aggrey Memorial Park, in a game between Ladystrikers and Sea Lions.
The two played out a 2-2 draw which means a 2-1 win at the Gyandu Park puts us in the second place with just 1 point behind Sea Lions.

With 20 minutes played, Milot Pokuaa was felled in the box and Referee Felicia Addo had no option than to point to the spot, Perpertual Agyekum boldly slotted in her fifth goal of the tournament.
It was the turn of Evelyn Badu, and for the first time in the tournament, our first open play goal was scored in an incredible form. She lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper to ensure the cushioning on the day.
The second half had to be delayed to ensure both group C games commence at the same time – both teams had to wait for 43 minutes.
Soccer Intellectuals came in strong and reduced the deficit to 2-1 on the 63rd minute.
Hasaacas Ladies just had to hold on to the 2-1 win to ensure qualification.
