For what looked very friendly during the warm up session, it turned out a bit intimidating as the home fans gathered around in their numbers – that did not scare Hasmal.
Hasaacas showed clear intent as early within the first 10 minutes as tries from Eduku and Roger Lamptey sailed just above the cross bar.
Before long Hasaacas registered the opener through center half Abeiku Ainooson as he rose highest to pounce on a corner kick from Philip Flamini.
The initiator, Philip Flamini was again brought down on the edge of the box and Isaac Asare showed master precision in curling one to the left sealing of the net.
The host pulled a goal back and through the panting moments Justuce Torsutsey restored the lead with a calm tap in also via the promptings of Philip Flamini.
The second half saw the home side grow more eager and threatened goal severally, but with calm and composure at the back of the defense they were kept at bay with the scoreline staying 3-1.
Hasmal pounded the surface and should have gone ahead through Sampson Eduku as his curler was denied by the second goalkeeper for BYFA, the cross bar.
In the dying embers of the game the host threatened and put a goal back to end the game 3-2.
Hasaacas will next host Asokwaa Deportivo at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on Sunday, 19 January, 2020.
