The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has ordered against the admission of fans at the stadium starting this weekend.
The move by the top decision makers of the GFA means our match day 7 game against Pacific Heroes FC will be played behind closed doors.
Part of the statement released by the GFA is quoted below.
“As a s result, the GFA intends to use the four-week period to strategize and re-engage before opening up the various centres to the public.
“Clubs are encouraged to use the period to train stewards who will be directly responsible for fan conduct in our quest to observe the social distancing protocol”.
The move affects games against Pacific Heroes FC, Samartex SC, Bekwai Youth Football Academy and Bibiani Gold Stars FC.
It’s anticipated that fans will return to the Sekondi Gyandu Park when we play host to Wassaman United FC on match day 11.
