Black Queens Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quaicoo is full of praises for Evelyn Badu on her debut appearance for the Black Queens.

“The 16-year-old is a star in the making” according to the Black Queens Coach who was talking to NB Sports after Ghana’s 2-0 victory against Senegal.

Evelyn Badu scored the opener in the 34th minute for Black Queens in the 2-0 victory against Senegal in the group A encounter.

“Evelyn Badu is a star in the making. This is her major and first ever international game and from no where entering into our first team.

“It’s a breakthrough for her, she needs to be encouraged, she’s a very good player and tactically very disciplined,” the head coach told NBSportslive.

Ghana will be playing Togo next before a last group game against host Ivory Coast.
