It was a creamy start from the Visitors who showed glimpses of being apt in attack and nearly got a goal to run away with the semi-final slot.

We turned up our sleeves after 15 minutes and demanded more defensive work from Police Ladies, before long, Milot Pokuaa beat goalkeeper Asantewaa with a lob to register the opening goal of the day.

Police Ladies came in strongly, fronted some strings of attacks via the promptings of Jane Ayiyam – the attacker had one of his strikes hitting the hand of Quennabel Amankwah and the Referee backed by the voiceferous Police personnel pointed to the spot.

Ayiyam stood up and blew the kick wide, sending relief all over the home fans.

The atmosphere became more charged as we slided through for the match winner with barely 15 minutes to end the game.

Linda Eshun pass found Milot Pokuaa beautifully and her strike traveling straight to the net was blocked by the strong hands of Asuako and the Referee did same, pointed to the spot.

Perpertual Agyekum boldly slotted home to cue pandemonium at the stadium.

We had to defend the remainder of the minute to ensure a 2-0 win was enough.

Doooooooooooooo Heavy Heavy!!
